Erected In Memory Of JOHN STOKES An Eminent Baritone Vocalist Who Possessed A Voice Remarkable For Its Richness and Fine Culture. He Was Of Powerful Frame And Great Stature Of Integrity And Success In Commercial Affairs And For Some Years Held A Position In The Yeomanry Cavalry. Born In Dudley May 2nd 1811 Died Aug 22nd 1877 Also In Memory Of Walter Stokes Mus Doc. Son Of John & Elizabeth Stokes Who Died Nov 25th 1916 Aged 60? Yrs
