Do you have a certificate to confirm that the maiden name was Wilson?
I cant see a marriage for them, not even on Scotlands people. There is a tree on Ancestry that has the family have you seen that?

That has a census in 1871 in Clewer Berkshire

1861 Census has a family that could be possible to follow back? Transcribbed as it is

Margaret, wife, Glasgow
Marian, daur, 12, Forfar, Arbroath

A person should have an opinion on everything, It becomes tact whether you reveal that opinion or not.

The Ancestry parkhouse_1 is me and the connection is only guess work
I cannot find a marriage certificate for Barber and Wilson but I have my Grandmothers birth cert which confirms the Wilson surname the problem is Scotland is a big place and there are thousands of Barbers and Wilsons
The Barber connection I am fairly certain of that is on the Scotlands People site 1871 Census
John Barber was found with his family Midlothian Dalkeith aged 18 which would be right b 1853 and his job was a Moulder which would tie in but Christina Wilson no body know?
