Hi all,
This references this archived post, which I didn't want archived: viewtopic.php?f=78&t=20014&p=198287&hilit=richard+hill#p198287
I'm still at a brick wall on him. I posted the naturalization papers but no one replied. Just don't know where to go from here. Was he a foundling? I had my father, Richard Hill, take the yDNA test on familytreedna.....but he has a handful of Hammond matches, no Hill matches at a high level. So does that mean Richard was a foundling? Or that there are just no Hill relatives who tested and match him?
1) I've found no obit for him.
2) I found a death certification, with "don't know" as his parents names.
Who is he? 2 documents have said that he's from Yorkshire....with no other information. Just found a potential passenger list with other people who settled in the same area as Indiana on it (assume it's him), and a naturalization record.
HELP!!
Thank you,
Stephanie
