New Member from Gloucestershire
Posted: Sat Apr 02, 2011 11:10 pmHi everyone! Found you quite by accident - was googling the name of one of my ancestors, AMOS GOODE from Halesowen, and his name came up on this website. I have been struggling to find his marriage (around 1849) for ages as it is not in the marriage indexes. Someone has posted a marriage for Amos Goode and Eliza Williams in 1849, but the surname is GOULD not Goode. Can anyone enlighten me?
I was born in Staffordshire and some of my surname interests are: MASKERY, BOURNE, SEDGLEY, RATCLIFFE, from the Stoke/Hanley/Dilhorne areas. Also GOODE and WILLIAMS from Halesowen. On my mother's side I am interested in BOURKE/MCGRATH AND BROWN from Ireland and OWENS from Bristol.
It would be great to hear from anyone!
