*TBC Archive* - Longstaff family of Durham, Lincoln and York
Hi,
I'm trying to firm up my Longstaff ancestors. I'm starting with George Longstaff.
What we know so far:-
George Longstaff was born 22 March 1860 in Barnard Castle.
His parents were
William Longstaff b c 1837 Pellington, Lincolnshire (although Pellington does not appear to exist?)
Winifred Hogan b c1839 Wakefield, Yorks
We have a marriage for William and Winifred in Teesdale 1859.
We also have them in the 1861 census but can not find William, Winifred or George in the 1871 census.
I have George Longstaff's family in the 1891 and 1901 census but not the 1881 census
So I would like to know:-
1. Anything about William, Winifred and George between 1861 and 1881.
2. Did George have any siblings?
3. Anything about the parents of William and Winifred
cheers
Bob
