Benjamin Thomas Leech - World War 1

Postby LuEliza » Thu Aug 25, 2016 11:17 am

Hi All,

I've recently found through family search that an ancestor was a royal engineer in world war one, however to gain access to the actual record I would have to pay (ancestry also have this). It seems pointless for me to pay for a month's fee since this is really the only information left of my family research (basically completed it all and my subscription has only just ran out - bit annoying). The information actually came up as a hint for his first two children which means they are on the records, this lead me to believe this meant they were born on base perhaps. Could be wrong but would be nice to know.

I guess I was writing this to see if anyone knew anywhere to see records for free or if perhaps if anyone would care to look it up and send me the file if they currently have a subscription. I

Benjamin Thomas Leech born around 1892 married to Florence in Pensnett. From family search I found that he was RE for inland transportation or something along those lines.

Thankyou for any help, much appreciated.
