The islands of Mull and Iona have a website http://www.mullgenealogy.co.uk/
It contains census data and it might be worth pointing out that Glasgow children were boarded out of the Poorhouse (Workhouse) to families in Iona (as was the case with my ancestor). They may appear in the census as boarders.
Poorhouse records are at the Mitchell Library, Glasgow
