TEAL (1840s on, okay; 1840s back, problem), BARRAND/BARRON/etc (tangled due to surname variations before 1871), BROOKSBANK (see below), SCOTT (of Weather House, Pellon, nothing before 1871, plenty after), WHITTAKER - Halifax and area, Yorks WR
George BROOKSBANK was the butler of Grainsby Hall, Lincs, in 1861, the seat of the HAIGH family. I've found interesting background on the HAIGH's but would love to know more about the BROOKSBANKs' stay there. It didn't seem to last.
