It was a penny token that has "Payable at the Workhouse" on one side
and on the other God Save the King 1813

Can't help wondering if it passed through any of our ancestors hands :think:

I found a threepenny bit outside The Gay Tower ( i love calling it that) Ballroom in Edgbaston back in 1966. Still got it and i often wonder if it had passed through your hands San. :?
