but I do not think the unmarried Solomon Wood living with Walker family in 1851 is the same one who married Sarah Skidmore daughter of Frederick Skidmore

Isnt Brockmoor in Kingswinford area?

Why couldnt it be that Solomon is with Susannah as a couple prior to marriage in 1851
but not able to support all in a lodging in 1851...........so his wife to be and his kids from first marriage are in workhouse

wits at marriage are Walkers.....and he is living with them ie Walker family in 1851

You might be right Nl as I have taken second look and one was a Boiler Maker and other was a Nailer and locations do tie up. Would like to find in 1841 though and with father Phillip Wood

Can I change Louisa Skidmore to Wood as no Louisa Skidmore born at that date but a Louisa Wood was born at that date

Whereas I have her married to William Benbow in 1872 and father on marriage record is Solomon Wood Nailer
