Welcome to the forum! :-)
I've got Youngs in my tree too, although they don't seem to connect to Gardener's - mine originated (as far as I can tell) in Essex, and then moved to West Bromwich

Thomas Young b.1804 in Chelmsford, Essex first appears in the Black Country in 1851, but was probably there earlier. His daughter who was twenty on the 1851 census was born in the Lichfield area, where his wife came from. The family seem to be in Sussex in 1841.
