I'm Rob and I'm new here. My user name is Minotaur as it feels like I am stuck in a labyrinth when researching my family history!
The surnames 'Troth', 'Knowles', 'Cerrone' and 'Bird' (latterly of Bromsgrove and Birmingham) are my primary interests and am trying to research my tree without making too many guesses. I find it easy to build a history based on guesswork and assumptions but it is sometimes very difficult to find the evidence to back up the assumptions.
Anyway, I'm stuck on some Troth research at the moment so I'll shortly be posting a thread to ask for assistance and inspiration!
