Hi all, I am new to the forum hoping to find out with your help lots of things to help me in my quest!

I've been researching my family history for 8 years now but have never been on a forum before, started to hit a few very hard brick walls and figured I'd try and ask for help from a wider group of people.

The names I'm names currently researching are male, rowland, burton, lee and clothier all from the somerset and dorset areas mainly, so if anyone has any of these names within their own research any help would be appreciated.

your clothiers wouldnt be the cheesemakers / farmers by any chance ?
A person should have an opinion on everything, It becomes tact whether you reveal that opinion or not.

Hi Karen

Welcome to the forum. :-)
There are some dorset parish records on ancestry - if you're not able to access these, I'm sure someone will be willing to help out.
