How to find someone's address

Postby Barbydee » Mon Aug 31, 2015 8:54 am

Hi I am new to this having been approached by an heir hunter company. I need to find the address of a dead relative from the time of approx 1980 until 1920. I cannot find out how to do this based on the fact that even if I pay the electoral registers only start at 2005. Any help greatly appreciated. Its an uncle who I believed lived in London. Called the office in London who said to find his whereabouts then I would need his address as they can't go by his name only but that's the problem I don't have his address and I am going round in circles. Have ordered the death certificate but I understand the address may be a hospital and not necessarily his home address. I am waiting for it to arrive but just wondering if you professionals know of a way online please and thank you in advance

death cert should have an informant on and there address, and electrol registers go way back just contact the local council to the know where abouts of the person trying to locate
A person should have an opinion on everything, It becomes tact whether you reveal that opinion or not.

Have you tried Ancestry?

or here

I don't know how complete the online collections are.
