007e Oldbury - The Fountain C1900
The old fountain with its statue known locally as "Polly on the Fountain" on Birmingham Street Oldbury, taken around 1900, perhaps even earlier.
It stood in front of The Junction pub, once known as The Wrexham, because it sold Wrexham Ales. It was all taken away in the late 1940s.
